Sean P. Saunders

Sean Saunders was born in Portland, Maine and grew up spending time between Brunswick, Maine, Boston, Massachusetts and parts of Florida. Assistant Chief Saunders is a graduate of Brunswick, Maine High School class of 2008. After graduating high school, Assistant Chief Saunders moved to the greater Boston area where he worked for several years in the private ems industry.
In late 2014, Assistant Chief Saunders changed professions and worked for a consulting agency out of New York City, traveling the country providing event medical services management and logistics to Tough Mudder USA and the New York City Road Runners. Assistant Chief Saunders also served as the Medical Branch Director for the 2015 and 2016 TCS New York City marathon.
In 2016, Assistant Chief Saunders returned to the private ems industry, relocating to the Phoenix Arizona Valley working for Rural Metro and American Medical Response as an EMT and Communications Lead. During this time, Assistant Chief Saunders also worked for a large private security agency as a supervisor for transit security services and special operations supervisor. Assistant Chief Saunders holds multiple certifications in EMS and Emergency Management. Assistant Chief Saunders is an Associate Emergency Manager and Certified Master Security Officer and is a Counter Narcotics and Terrorism Operational Medical Support (CONTOMS) graduate. Assistant Chief Saunders is a graduate of multiple incident command and disaster response training courses through the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA.
Assistant Chief Saunders currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida and travels frequently to our other areas of operations.
